Each De Luxe suite onboard offers 5* luxury accommodation, with television, telephone, individually controlled air conditioning, room safe, hairdryer and private en-suite including bath or shower and personal butler service. 

Blue Train also offers a number of larger Luxury suites which also offer C.D player, video recorders and a full sized bath.

By day the elegantly furnished suites have comfortable lounge chairs and television, by night they are magically transformed into a twin or double bed dressed with the finest linen.

Breakfast lunch and supper are included in the cost and are served in the dining car.

High tea which includes cucumber sandwiches, cakes and scones is served in the main lounge.

The gourmet menu served with the finest South African wines makes the Blue Train a culinary delight

Please note although there is no strict dress code, dinner is a formal affair.
