Day 1 - Tue: Durban to Zululand (L)

Travel to Zululand. Visit traditional Zulu village for lunch and show. Proceed to Hluhluwe region for game drive and overnight.

Overnight in Hluhluwe - Umfolozi

 
Day 2 - Wed: Zululand to Swaziland (B)

Early morning game drive. Travel to Swaziland and visit craft market. Complimentary (optional) afternoon excursion to Swazi candle factory.

Overnight in Mpumalanga

 
Day 3 - Thur: Swaziland to Mpumalanga (B)

Visit a glass factory. Travel to hotel, outside Kruger National Park. Late afternoon or night open-vehicle game drives available (optional and for own account).

Overnight in Mpumalanga.  

 
Day 4 - Fri: Mpumalanga to Kruger National Park to Mpumalanga (B) ***
Early morning coffee or tea. Depart on open vehicle game drive through Kruger National Park with pre-packed breakfast . Return to hotel for afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon or night open vehicle game drives available (optional and for own account).  
 
Day 5 - Sat: Mpumalanga (B)

Travel via scenic Panorama Route, Blyde Canyon and God's Window.

Overnight in Mpumalanga.  

 
Day 6 - Sun: Mpumalanga to Johannesburg (B)
After breakfast, travel to Johannesburg where tour ends on arrival. Passengers may be dropped off, on request, at Johannesburg International Airport.

Day 1: Durban to St Lucia to Hluhluwe (D)

Road transfer to Mtubatuba, meet guide and transfer to Veyane Zulu Cultural Village. Experience bead making, weaving, sangoma (witchdoctor) and Traditional Dance. Continue to St Lucia for boat cruise on estuary with opportunity to view hippo and crocodiles. Transfer to lodge near Hluhluwe for dinner and overnight.

 
Day 2: Hluhluwe Game Reserve (B) (D)

Depart early morning for full day of game viewing. Packed breakfast en route. Visit Centenary Centre, renown for capture and translocation of game, especially White Rhino. Possible opportunity for close encounter with rhino in capture ‘bomas’ (enclosures). Return late afternoon.‘Boma’ dinner (weather permitting). Overnight at a lodge.

 
Day 3: Hluhluwe Game Reserve to Durban (B)

Depart early morning for final game drive. Return to lodge for breakfast. Return transfer to Durban, arriving in the late afternoon, where tour ends.

Day 1 Mon: Durban to Port Elizabeth (D)

You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Durban airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth. For those passengers that make their own flight arrangements please contact our central reservations for an update on flight schedules. On arrival in Port Elizabeth, transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

 
Day 2 Tue: Port Elizabeth to Knysna (B)

Travel westward to Tsitsikamma Mountains and indigenous forests. Check in at hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Knysna.

 
Day 3 Wed: Knysna (B) (L)

Enjoy shops and atmosphere of this quaint town before lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Trailer ride to top of Western Head and walk back through Milkwood trees for lunch. Overnight in Knysna.  

 
Day 4 Thur: Knysna to Oudtshoorn (B) (D)

Travel via Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn. Guided tour of an Ostrich Show Farm. Tour vast limestone caverns of the Cango Caves. Overnight in Oudtshoorn. 

 
Day 5 Fri: Oudtshoorn to Cape Town (B)

Travel Route 62 via the 'Klein Karoo' and Montagu to Cape Town, arriving late afternoon, where tour ends. Passengers may be dropped off, on request, at Cape Town International Airport.

Day 1 Mon: Durban to Fugitives Drift (L) (D)

Early departure. Expert battlefield guide recounts the 1879 battle of Isandlwana, where 24,000 Zulu impisattacked a British regiment. Continue to Fugitive's Drift and Rourke's Drift, where for 12 hours, some 100 British troops repulsed 4,000 Zulu impis. Return to Fugitive's Drift. Overnight in guest house.

 
Day 2 Tue: Fugitives Drift to Durban (B) (L)

After a hearty traditional South African breakfast, summit Spioenkop Mountain. Guide will recpunt tragic battle between the Boers and British in January 1900. Winston Churchill, the a reporter, and Ghandi, a stretcher bearer, witnessed this battle.

After lunch return to Durban. Arrive late afternoon where tour ends.
